Eric C. Rackow, M.D., SeniorBridge President and CEO, part of national panel of experts discussing “The Future of Living…Independently”

 (NEW YORK CITY) September 29, 2008 - Eric C. Rackow, M.D., President and CEO of SeniorBridge, a specialized organization that serves seniors and their families by managing chronic health care in the home and other settings, participated in The Future of Living…Independently Conference. The conference will provide recommendations to improve independent living for seniors.

The conference, hosted by the International Longevity Center-USA, features an expert panel convened and led by Dr. Robert Butler, President and CEO, of the International Longevity Center-USA. It includes representatives from a variety of disciplines including public health, geriatric medicine, heath policy, and social services. This conference is a two-part series that envisions a future in which older people are able to maintain and enhance their quality of life while living independently to older ages. It will discuss topics such as what the next generation of older adults wants and needs, where future innovation will take us, and what independent living in 2030 may look like.
